  • Investigative Health at MOSI in Tampa

    On February 14th Dr. Clem and Mrs. Castillo’s Clinical Nursing Students visited MOSI in Tampa. The students attended the Investigative Health workshop. Through hands-on stations, such as suturing, tools of the trade, and engineering, expose students to important health topics and examine the heart, trachea and lungs of a mammal through dissection.     Career Day

    On February 1st Mrs. Castillo’s Level 2 Clinical group was invited to attend Career Day at the Cathedral of St. Jude Middle School in St. Petersburg. The level 2 nursing students spoke about the nursing program and about their futures in Nursing to approximately 50 middle school students during three sessions. Read more.

    BSN Heath Information Fair

    Community Theory nursing students took part in a health information fair at HEC on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Many attendees were able to learn about health promotion and illness prevention addressing skin cancer, strokes, heart disease, flu prevention and other issues. A similar fair will be presented at other SPC campuses over the next month. Read more.
