Summer Programs

  • Looking for summer camps and programs that are educational, motivational and fun? St. Petersburg College and community partners are hosting affordable summer camps and programs for middle and high school students.

  • Operation Graduation IconOperation Graduate

    Operation Graduate provides at risk middle and high school students with educational opportunities with a focus on life and financial skills that develop a foundation for success. In addition, high school juniors accepted in the program can apply for dual enrollment classes at St. Petersburg College. Learn more.

    STEMTECSTEM TECH

    Junior Achievement and CareerSource Pinellas (formerly WorkNet Pinellas) provides a four-week summer program on five St. Petersburg College campuses for students ages 14-17. The program provides hands-on activities in various career industries, workplace readiness training, teambuilding, goal setting, personal motivation and job shadowing site visit experiences in fields related to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).     Youth Development ProgramYouth Development icon

    The Pinellas Opportunity Council (POC) Youth Development Program work to equip low-income, academically-talented youth ages 14-15 with workforce readiness, leadership and financial literacy skills. The program operates during the summer months and provides a $500 stipend for youth who complete training and employment. During the first stage, students prepare for employment through job readiness training, covering Junior Achievement’s JA Career Success and JA Personal Finance; workshops are held on select St. Petersburg College Campuses. In Phase II, Pinellas Opportunity Council places students in internships for up to six weeks to allow youth to gain valuable work experience.
