Born and raised in Florida, Mike Price has been studying martial arts for over twenty years and has over eight years of teaching experience. He specializes in children's martial arts that focus on the practical aspects and applications of the techniques he's learned. He first started classes in Chang Moo Kwan Traditional Tae Kwon-do at the age of 14. After achieving the rank of first degree black belt he started over as a white belt in Modern Sport Karate and worked through the ranks until he earned a second degree black belt.
Mr. Price trained at Amir Academy of martial arts and earned his third degree black belt in Chinese Chen To-on Kung Fu. He is ranked as a class "A" fighter in the American Invitational Championships (A.I.C.) Federation and holds an amateur full contact kickboxing record of 5-2 with two knockouts. He was the captain of the Battle of Tampa Bay IV kickboxing team in their huge win over team New York. Mr. Price is the only four consecutive time Battle of Tampa Bay Full Contact Amateur Kickboxing participant.
