    Welcome to the Applied Ethics Institute of St. Petersburg College. Our mission is to promote the teaching of ethics at all levels of education, in business, in the community and on the Web.

    Weekend College

    At St. Petersburg College, you can earn an associate degree entirely on the weekends.

  • The Applied Ethics Institute sponsors a variety of community ethics programs throughout Pinellas County and the Tampa Bay area. Through partnerships with a wide variety of community organizations, SPC faculty and students are involved in local activities designed to elevate the awareness of ethical issues. Learn more about:

  • Ethics AppliedThe Applied Ethics Institute is dedicated to supporting ethics in the workplace through programs for business, professional and non-profit organizations, as well as public service groups. The foundation of these ethics programs for professionals, and the secret of their success, is a faculty drawn from a broad spectrum of real-world backgrounds and experiences, including law, business, healthcare, mass communications, education, criminology and counseling.

    Our business and professional programs include Ethics for Educators: A statewide ethics course for Florida K-12 teachers; Creating a Common Culture of Ethics in Your Organization; Continuing education seminars and workshops; Law enforcement ethics training offered through the Florida Regional Community Policing Institute and the U.S. Department of Justice; and Ethics workshops for Florida public officials and employees.
