Due to state authorization requirements for distance learning that are particular to each state, students who reside in Massachusetts, Minnesota and Nevada cannot enroll in online classes at St. Petersburg College as long as they are residents of those states.
Welcome to SPC Health Sciences.
Our A.S. degree in Health Sciences and embedded certificate in Health Care Services prepare you to work in the health care field.
This degree also offers specific focus areas for each lower division limited enrollment health program. This lets you focus on the required prerequisites for your chosen program by taking the courses you need to be considered for admission. If you are not selected for admission to the focus area you choose, you may remain in Health Sciences A.S. degree or choose from other options. Consult with a career specialist at the Health Education Center to explore your options.
The A.S. Health Sciences degree transfers to our B.A.S. in Health Services Administration.
At SPC, you can start with your certificate, earn your A.S. degree and finish with your bachelor's degree.
The shortest wait times are in the morning. To be sure you will see an advisor, please arrive at least one hour before closing. Limited services may be available up to an hour before closing, depending on the number of students waiting.
