Interdisciplinary Studies

  • Interdisciplinary studies is a 6-credit class with a unique, theme-based approach that meets the general education requirements for Composition I and Introduction to Humanities. Expert faculty from both disciplines team teach giving students an interactive experience that includes field trips, guest speakers and hands-on learning.

    Designed with a global emphasis, Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS 1106) themes include topics like the hero quest, the Other, civil disobedience, and wilderness and society.

      Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

    Benefits

    • Earn credit for these general education requirements: HUM 1020:  Introduction to Humanities (HUM 1020) and Composition I (ENC 1101). This course may also serve as an Enhanced Worldview Requirement.
