Help your fellow students by joining the Student Mentor Club.

SPC Student Mentors provide leadership and support to other students while making the college experience FUN, resulting in positive student transitions and transformations. Make new friends and memories to cherish for a lifetime.

What do Student Mentors do? 

  • Introduce students to on-campus resources:

    • Tutoring services
    • Career center
    • Academic services
    • Library
    • Clubs and organizations
  • Assist in Registration Center during peak periods
  • Conduct campus tours
  • Face-to-face orientations

Student Mentor Requirements: 

  • 2.5 GPA (grade point average) or higher
  • Must have completed at least 2 semesters
  • Must commit to a consecutive Fall and Spring semester
  • Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours per semester

How to Become a Student Mentor

  • Interview with Admissions Panel
  • Attend training
