How much do I owe?

Knowing how much you owe on your student loans helps you stick to a budget.

Federal Direct Student Loans

SPC encourages you to review all information about loans before deciding to borrow and to borrow only what you need. Loans at SPC are offered through the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program, which issues loans directly from the federal government.

National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS)

With your PIN, you can access NSLDS, a database that contains your financial aid history from any school. This includes grants, federal Stafford and PLUS loans, whether borrowed directly from the Federal government or a private lender. Private loans are not listed on NSLDS.

When do I start repaying my student loans?

Repayment begins six months after graduating, withdrawing, or dropping below half-time status. There are several repayment options to help you in managing your budget.

What if I'm having trouble paying my student loans?

You may qualify for a deferment or forbearance to temporarily postpone repayment. Consolidation might also be an option to combine all payments into one monthly payment.

What if I don't repay my student loan?

Default is a serious consequence for not repaying your student loans.
