Lifelong Learning

  • Piano for Fun

You do not have to be an SPC student to take these courses. You can sign up by calling 727-341-3000 or register online.

Private music lessons

Music classesYou can take private music lessons in voice, piano and other instruments through Applied Music courses at SPC. These courses are generally for community members and students who are not pursuing a degree in music or already have a degree. All SPC music courses are open to these students, who are not required to play in a recital or jury exam but can be asked to take part in them.

To take one of our Applied Music courses, you need to apply for admission to the college and register for the course, which you can enroll in for credit or audit. You’ll need to come to the Gibbs Campus, Room HS 118, to secure your place in the course. You can’t enroll online for Applied Music courses. Scroll to view Applied Music Course offerings.
