Veterinary Technology Programs
Put your love of animals to work for you by earning a Veterinary Technology degree from St. Petersburg College. You can train at our state-of-the-art Veterinary Technology Center in Largo. by applying for our campus associate degree program or if you're working at a veterinary practice in another area, our online associate degree program will integrate your hard-earned clinical experience with online classroom activities. Our online bachelor's degree is one of only 24 in the country and can help you move into management, teaching or research.
World-Class Veterinary Technology Center
Our new $11 million Veterinary Technology facility features 32,000 square feet of state-of-the-art classrooms, labs, surgery and x-ray suites, kennels and offices. Located next to Pinellas County Animal Services, our location makes it easy for you to gain valuable work experience and for county services to get a volunteer boost. This facility was recently awarded LEED® Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Continuing Success
Between 2012-19, 93% of our A.S. degree graduates and 97% of our B.A.S. degree graduates found jobs in the field, were continuing their education, or were serving in the military.
