Design Classes

  • Discover Design at SPC

    SPC’s Fine Arts department offers many foundation courses designed to develop students’ knowledge and perception of two- and three-dimensional form and its elements. These courses provide an introduction to basic design concepts, skills and processes. Students display their work at the Crossroads Gallery, Clearwater Campus.

  • Students who want to take design classes as electives for their Associate in Arts degree can take:

    • Design I  - ART 1201C 
    • Design II – ART 1203C 
  • A liberal arts education with courses in Design can serve as the foundation for advanced degrees and professions such as teaching, art directing, painting, illustrating and multimedia and industrial design.
