St. Petersburg College, a national leader in applied ethics training and online instruction, offers quality ethics training for teachers in a convenient online college course. PHI 2623 combines ethical theories with codes,principles and statutes, which directly affect educators. Students will apply this learning to real-life case studies to resolve ethical dilemmas educators may face. View brochure.
This class was developed in cooperation with the Florida Department of Education and the former National Center for Teacher Transformation at SPC, for people with a bachelor’s degree or higher.
Training can be applied toward certification, re-certification or remediation for those who have had their licenses sanctioned as a result of ethical misbehavior.
Note: A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree and permission of the program director are required prerequisites for this course.
