The BS in Engineering Technology (BSET) program prepares graduates for technical positions in the expanding fields of industrial operations, mechanical design, or construction design. The primary objective is to provide a broad foundation of theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of electrical and electronics circuits, mechanics, computers, energy systems, programmable logic controllers, technical economics, and quality assurance. Some associated job titles for graduates include systems engineer, process analyst, technical sales engineer, project engineer and calibration engineer.
The Engineering Technology program with a concentration in Electrical Engineering Technology (BSET-EET) prepares graduates for technical positions in the expanding fields of electronics, electrical engineering, digital computing and microprocessors, photonics and lasers. The primary objective is to provide a broad foundation of theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of electrical and electronics circuits, digital circuits, computers, power systems, programmable logic controllers, microprocessors and control Systems.
The BS in Information Technology program prepares you for technical
positions in the expanding fields of information technology, network
security, digital forensics, databases and programming. Graduates will
have a broad understanding of processes that support the development,
delivery, management and security of information systems. The program
includes detailed course work in all aspects of the IT field including
operating systems, networks, programming, digital security and
forensics, databases and web systems.
