Our program prepares you to become an entry-level medical coder.
The growing use of electronic health records will continue to
increase the demand for health information technicians. As Americans
live longer and receive more health care services, the need for health
information specialists is expected to grow 21 percent through 2020,
much faster than average, particularly for those with a strong
understanding of technology and computer software.
