Program Summary

This program is offered as a Fully Online program. This certificate is a comprehensive certificate focused on policy, planning and administration of emergency response teams and systems. This certificate focuses on homeland security and integrates the practical, technical and communication aspects of emergency management. Program participants will gain an understanding of problems facing response teams, learn to write emergency plans according to local, state, and federal guidelines and build communications skills as crisis advisors. These courses apply towards the Emergency Administration and Management Associate in Science degree.

Graduation Requirements

A minimum grade of "C" in all Support and Major courses.
