A Mass Communications internship at St. Petersburg College is a supervised, practical learning experience in the workplace that provides an opportunity to apply, connect and extend academic theory and competencies to build professional skills and networks. Unlike many programs, SPC students have the opportunity to participate in Mass Communications internships giving them valuable work experience. Students who aren't sure which area of the mass media they want to focus on can explore internships in different fields.
When you register for a Mass Communications (MMC) class, an internship instruction sheet will be posted under lessons in ANGEL. Or you can contact our Collegewide Internship Office for details.
Mass Communications classes can help satisfy the general education requirements for the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree or meet the common prerequisites for your chosen four-year major.
