  • Pursue the Art of Printmaking

Printmaking at SPC introduces students to the basic nature of the medium, both in a historical and conceptual context. Multiple print mediums are explored in the semester, such as relief printing, monoprints, intaglio, and screen printing. You will work on developing imagery and concepts and how they fit within the specific medium. During a printmaking course, you will be exposed to numerous printmakers and techniques, while working to develop concepts in your own work. Students can exhibit their work at the Crossroads Gallery, Clearwater Campus.

  • Students who want to take printmaking classes as electives for their Associate in Arts degree can take:

    • Printmaking I – ART 2400C

  • A liberal arts education with courses in Printmaking can serve as the foundation for advanced degrees and professions such as law, medicine and business, as well as teaching, painting, sculpting, illustrating, multimedia and art directing.
