SPC rides PSTA for free

  • ImportantNOTE: SPC faculty, staff and students who want to use the free PSTA service will be required to display a hologram sticker on their SPC IDs. The stickers will be distributed at the campus and district Security offices and Student Life and Leadership Offices.

Through an agreement between PSTA (Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority) and SPC, students, faculty and staff can enjoy free bus service through the Universal Pass, or UPASS. Simply show your current student or staff ID when boarding a PSTA bus and you can ride for free, any time, on all routes, including regular and express routes, shuttles and trolleys. Students must be currently enrolled in one or more credit courses. Since 2014 St. Petersburg College and PSTA have been dedicated to offering free transportation for SPC faculty, staff and students. This partnership allows 45,000 students and 3,900 employees to ride PSTA buses for free.
