Sculpture

  • Create a Masterpiece in Sculpture

Sculptors are artists who develop their personal visions using various techniques and materials to create masterful three-dimensional works of art. Creating sculpture is an age-old art form that dates back to prehistoric times and encompasses a variety of cultures. Through collaborations with other Fine Arts departments, SPC sculpture courses will allow you to create public and private works using countless combinations of materials and a broad range of techniques. Our department facilities and experienced staff will help you find your artistic voice as you acquire an understanding of the historical art form of sculpture. Students can exhibit their work at the Crossroads Gallery, Clearwater Campus.

  • Students who want to take sculpture classes as electives for their Associate in Arts degree can take:

    • Sculpture I – ART 1701C
  • A liberal arts education with courses in Sculpture can serve as the foundation for advanced degrees and professions such as teaching, art directing, sculpting, illustrating and multimedia design.
